WHAT TO EXPECT

When you walk in on Sunday mornings,  you can expect to be warmly welcomed by our greeters at the front door.  If it’s your first time, be sure to grab a welcome gift,  located at the entrance of our sanctuary doors!

We open our service with a Scripture reading and sing three songs, followed by an additional Scripture reading, and then we move into our offering. After another song, Pastor Alexander will then deliver a 30-35 minute message. We close by singing two songs and end with a benediction.

On the first Sunday of the month, we participate in the Lord’s Supper. If you are a professing believer in Jesus and in good standing with another local church, we invite you to participate with us in receiving the Lord’s Supper. Occasionally, our order of worship will include a baptism or two!

WE LOVE CHILDREN!!!

If you have kids, we love children in the service! Upon walking in, you will find our “praise bags”. These bags include a kid-friendly note page, a box of crayons, a lcd writing tablet, a sensory toy, some animals crackers and small bottle of water. We include these to help children feel included in the service, and engaged during the time. If you happen to use them, please return the bag, toy, and writing tablet so we can sanitize and reuse them!

If you have really little ones, we have a nursery room where mom’s and their babies can go. The livestream is broadcast on a TV in the room, so you won’t miss the praise or the message! We also have background checked volunteers who help out if you’d like to be in the service the whole time. Our nursery area is for 1–3-year-olds.

We are currently working on getting a children’s ministry started (4–8 year-olds) for a teaching time during the service. While we do not have anything yet, it is in the works, so please offer us some patience and grace! It’s also worth noting, we really don’t mind squirmy and noisy children in the service. We believe children are a blessing from the LORD and without the next generation, a local church will not last long!

After the service, we have a time of fellowship with coffee and snacks.

We offer a potluck on the second Sunday of every month!

We hope to see you soon at Living Stone Community Church!
