The Tender Mercy Of Our God

Luke 1:76-79 ~ "And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."

This Christmas week, I pray that you would be reminded of the tender mercy of our God. Not just His mercy, but His tender mercy.

Because of His tender mercy towards us, the Son has shone on us, to guide our feet into the way of peace by the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Dear saint, God loves you. And like a father with his newborn infant, He is tender in heart and kind towards you. He has lifted your feet, caught in the muck of sin, and placed them on Christ the solid rock.

How good it is to know the tender mercy of God.
